Services

Front Range Powerline offers exceptional quality services to utility companies. We offer hot pole changeouts, re-conductor, storm work, substation work, transmission work, and more. We’re able to build new power lines and then wreck out the old lines, to ensure areas are not without power for extended periods of time. Additionally, we can construct new projects for utility companies, oil and gas companies, and various other companies as well.

Safety First

At Front Range Powerline Services, we know that it’s our employees and how they approach servicing our customers that differentiates us from other powerline companies. Safety is always our biggest priority. Every expert that we employ has completed our apprenticeship program. To lead a crew, our employees have to be Journeyman Lineman. We follow all OSHA and MSHA regulations and routinely offer safety training, including pole-top and bucket rescue courses. Additionally, we are OSHA 10, Safeland, Veriforce, and PEC Premier certified. Safety is key in this line of work, and the health and safety of our employees is our top priority in every project, big and small.

Transmission

Front Range Powerline Services offers construction and maintenance services for overhead high-voltage transmission lines.

A transmission line is a high-voltage overhead powerline that is used for long-distance transmission of electricity. These lines can carry electricity across the state and are used primarily to transport bulk electricity at high voltages, ranging from 60 kV- 500 kV. Typically transmission lines are supported on tall metal towers and they are managed using the industry’s best management practices.

Distribution

Front Range Powerline Services provides a full scope of electrical services for overhead and underground powerline distribution systems. Distribution lines differ from transmission lines because they are smaller in scope and carry lower voltage. Typically, distribution lines are shorter than transmission lines and are supported by wooden poles. Distribution lines are what typically deliver electricity to neighborhoods and communities, providing power to homes and businesses.

At Front Range, we perform reconductoring of existing distribution lines, as well as energization and testing, and more. We offer construction and maintenance of new or existing overhead and underground distribution lines, as well as 24.7 emergency and storm response.

Maintenance

Front Range Powerline Services offers routine and emergency services for all transmission and distribution over overhead and underground powerlines. We can check for vegetation disturbance (trees, etc.), damaged conductors, deterioration of poles, and more. We are able to replace conductors and poles as needed, making sure your infrastructure is in good, working order. We provide upgrades and maintenance on existing infrastructure, whether it’s just one pole or an entire fleet.

Construction

Front Range Powerline partners with electric companies for the construction of new powerlines. Our skilled, highly-trained electrical linemen are able to construct, maintain, and refurbish overhead and underground systems for utility and industrial clients throughout Wyoming and beyond. We can provide design, procurement, installation, voltage conversions and maintenance of primary and secondary systems. Our crews can build or rebuild single poles, or entire systems, depending on the need. We offer routine and emergency services, ensuring that power companies and industrial companies get what they need, when they need it to make sure their customers never have to go without power.
